Strathspeys are a type of dance tune found in Cape Breton and Scottish fiddling. If you are new to playing them, their rhythms can be tricky.
As fiddle players, we not only express melodies, but rhythms. If you are new to a fiddle style, the inherent rhythms can be the most difficult to incorporate.
